Hi folks! I am Kacie, an older girl with a chill personality. I am very affectionate and love my people, the rest of the world doesn’t faze me too much. Would you like to have me lay on your feet and be the grateful recipient of lots of ear scratches? I’d really like that. I’m smart too and a good listener, especially if you have food! I have beautiful house manners, know “sit” and “down” and take food and treats very politely. Although foster mom doesn’t have other pets or kids, I have been cool with other dogs and cats according to my temp foster, and the dogs and cats in my foster’s neighborhood don’t bother me. I’m super gentle, so although we have to meet, foster mom thinks I’m very tolerant so I would probably be good with kids. I have lost some muscle tone on my journey to AZBCR, so I’ll need gentle exercise to help me build that back up. I’m also working on losing weight. As an older lady, I have some vision loss, but because I take the world at an easy pace that doesn’t really affect me. My ears and nose work just fine. I love playing with balls by myself, maybe you can continue to teach me to retrieve with my nose? I’m not really a tug of war girl or a chewer, but you can have lots of fun watching me be a champ at puzzle toys! One other thing, I do have diabetes, but don’t let that stop you from falling in love! Can we be couch potatoes together? I’m waiting for you to love me (almost) as much as I’ll love you.
